Saving the Children Ministries
STCM was formed in 2007 to reach the thousands of abandoned and abused children living on the streets of Bolivia South America. Children are the future of tomorrow and we want to help them to have the opportunities of safe living facilities, a good health care program , and an effective education.The Mission of Saving the Children Ministries is to provide redemptive healing services that bring meaningful change to the lives of children, teens and young adults through teaching the word of God and showing his love and care for the children.
The Need
- There are over 3,700 children living on the streets of major cities such as Cochabamba, La Paz and Santa Cruz.(UNICEF)
- Additionally, UNICEF estimates that 800,000 children work in Bolivia.
- UNICEF also states 60% of street children left home due to physical violence. 20% left home because there wasn’t enough to eat and 20% were abandoned by their parents.
What We Do
- We give a helping hand to children, teens and young adults through several programs:
- Counseling Services
- Medical Care
- Sport Programs
- Clothing & Food Outreach
What We Need
Funding Needed: $180,000 to purchase a property with living facilities for 200 children.
Supplies Needed: Dry foods, cloths,shoes,medicines,beds
3 Month Goal: Aquire monthly financial surporting Partners
6 Month Goal:$80,000 down payment for the property
1 Year Goal: $100,000 to complete final payments of property and facilities
3 Year Goal: Start 2 more children homes in other departments of Bolivia
Vehicle Project
Saving The Children Ministries
STCM reaches out to
the poor homeless children in Bolivia. Thousands of children 2 years and
up live on the streets of the many major and small cities. We are in need
of a vehicle for our charity. We were forced to sell the old vehicle
because it was giving several machanical problems.
STCM still needs
$8000US to be able to purchase a better vehicle that will serve the
children’s ministry more effectivily.
